The BMPS 2026 Grand Finale ended today, on June 21, 2026. GodLike Esports won the tournament. It was decided that the BGMI team that will represent India at the ENC 2026 tournament would be selected based on its performance in this event.
Ayogi, the coach of Team Soul, has been appointed as the coach of India’s BGMI team for ENC 2026. In this blog post, we will explain how the BGMI team for ENC 2026 was selected and which esports team will represent India in the tournament.
How Did Krafton India Set Up the ENC 2026 Qualification System?
Krafton India used a two-slot system for ENC 2026: Slot 1 went to the BMPS 2026 champion, and Slot 2 was decided by KIE Global Ranking combined with BMPS Grand Finals performance.
This structure rewarded both tournament excellence and season-long consistency. The Esports Nations Cup official page confirms 32 national teams will compete.
| Slot | How It Was Decided |
|---|---|
| Slot 1 | BMPS 2026 Champion (direct) |
| Slot 2 | KIE Rank #1, if they outplace Rank #2 at BMPS Finals |
What Is the KIE Global Ranking?
The KIE Global Ranking is Krafton India’s official points-based leaderboard that tracks team performance across the entire BGMI competitive season.
Before BMPS 2026 Grand Finals, the projected KIE ranking was:
| Rank | Team | Points |
|---|---|---|
| #1 | Orangutan (OG) | 2110 |
| #2 | Soul | 2035 |
| #3 | Divine Gaming (DG) | 2020 |
Krafton India’s rules gave KIE Rank #1 a clear edge. If Rank #1 finished above Rank #2 at BMPS Grand Finals, Slot 2 was theirs.
BMPS 2026 Grand Finals: The Results
GodLike Esports won BMPS 2026 with 162 points. Divine Gaming finished second with 152 points. Orangutan placed sixth with 119 points. Soul ended at 13th with 96 points.
The Grand Finals ran for three days at the Jaipur Convention Centre with a prize pool of ₹4 crore. Our BMPS 2026 Day 1 coverage tracked the early action.
| Position | Team | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | GodLike Esports | 162 |
| 2nd | Divine Gaming | 152 |
| 6th | Orangutan | 119 |
| 13th | Soul | 96 |
How GodLike and Orangutan Qualified for ENC 2026
GodLike Esports qualified for ENC 2026 by winning BMPS 2026, earning the champion’s direct slot. Their path was not easy. On Day 1, they sat at the bottom with just 20 points. But they rallied over the next two days. Their 162-point total came from smart rotations and clutch gunfights.

Orangutan qualified through the KIE Global Ranking slot because they were Rank #1 in KIE points and finished higher than Rank #2 Soul at BMPS Grand Finals. Orangutan finished 6th. Soul finished 13th. That gap locked the slot for OG.
Divine Gaming finished an impressive 2nd at BMPS with 152 points. But they were KIE Rank #3. For DG to get Slot 2, Orangutan had to win BMPS, DG had to finish 2nd, and Soul had to finish 11th or lower. Since Orangutan did not win BMPS, the carry-forward rule never triggered.
Conclusion
India’s two PUBG Mobile slots for ENC 2026 went to the right teams. GodLike Esports earned their spot by winning BMPS 2026. Orangutan earned theirs through KIE Global Ranking dominance. Krafton India’s dual system rewarded both tournament excellence and consistent performance.
