Disappointing Performances by Fan-Favorite Teams

Although the first day has concluded, several popular e-sports teams failed to show their expectations.

GodLike Esports managed only 20 points after six matches, including just 1 position point. One of the key moments of the day came in Match 2 when GodLike Esports clashed with Team Apex. GodLike successfully rushed Apex with vehicles and eliminated their players. However, the team was eliminated shortly afterward. The fight took place in an open area, allowing a third team to take advantage of the situation and eliminate GodLike through a third-party attack.

Day 1 Final Standings

In the overall Day 1 standings, Divine Gaming sits at the top of the leaderboard with two Chicken Dinners and 85 points. Nebula Esports holds second place with 53 points, backed by one Chicken Dinner, 36 frags, and 17 position points.

Genesis Esports is just one point behind Nebula Esports. The remaining team standings can be seen on the points table. Fan-favorite Team Apex Gaming also had a disappointing day, finishing in 14th place with only 23 points after six matches.

Final Word

Team Apex Gaming’s struggles began right from the opening match. In the first game on Rondo, Apex became the first team to be eliminated. The team’s IGL, Jelly, was moving toward the Recoil Tower when he encountered Victores Sumus. The early fight ended in Apex’s elimination, preventing the team from making any significant impact in Day 1 match.
