How Does the BMPS 2026 Format Work?

• Survival Stage (June 2-5): 32 teams remain. Each plays 12 matches in a round-robin format. Only the top 8 survive. The other 24 are done for the season.
• Semifinals (June 9-12): 24 teams, double round-robin, 16 matches per team. That is more matches than most tournaments run across their entire Grand Finals. Top 6 qualify directly. Ranks 7-22 drop to Last Chance. Bottom 2 are eliminated.
• Last Chance (June 13-14): 16 teams, 12 matches, no margin for error. Only the top 2 earn the final spots in the Grand Finals lineup.
• Grand Finals (June 19-21, Jaipur): 16 teams, 18 matches over three days. No safety nets. No second chances. One champion.
