What Is the Esports Nations Cup 2026?
The Esports Nations Cup 2026 is the world’s first large-scale, recurring, multi-title esports tournament built entirely around national teams. Organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF). Over 100 nations and an estimated 100,000+ players will compete in qualifiers for a spot in Riyadh.
Think of the EWC as the place for the best clubs to go head-to-head. The ENC is where the best nations do. It’s a completely different energy. Every match carries the weight of national pride.
The EWCF first announced the ENC in August 2025 at the New Global Sport Conference in Riyadh. ENC 2026 Full Schedule
The full 16-game lineup was confirmed on April 8, 2026 by the Esports Foundation. Here’s every title, what makes it worth watching, and where India stands.

Week one opens with Dota 2 and Chess. The middle weeks feature VALORANT, Rainbow Six Siege, and Trackmania. The final week closes with the biggest draws: League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
What to Watch and When
Week 1 (Nov 2-8): The Opening Salvo This week belongs to strategy and precision. Dota 2 kicks things off from November 2-8, followed by Chess running the same window. PUBG Mobile also tips off on November 3 and runs through November 8.
For Indian fans, this is must-watch week. Chess is India’s biggest medal opportunity, and BGMI/PUBG Mobile is a game where Indian players genuinely compete at the world’s highest level.
Week 2 (Nov 8-15): Tactical Shooter Week VALORANT dominates this stretch, running November 8-15. This is where India’s most organized esports community comes to play. Expect 32 national teams fighting it out in a group stage and playoff bracket, all building to a best-of-five grand final.
Week 3 (Nov 18-22): The Chaos Week Rainbow Six Siege (Nov 18-22) and Trackmania (Nov 19-22) share the spotlight. Siege is always unpredictable and spectacular. Trackmania is pure, clinical time-trial racing that rewards precision over everything else. The Fighters section, featuring Street Fighter 6 and Fatal Fury, also falls in this window (Nov 18-22).
Week 4 (Nov 21-29): The Grand Finale This is where the biggest audiences show up. League of Legends runs November 21-29, with the Grand Final on the last day of the entire tournament. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang runs November 23-29. Apex Legends closes out from November 26-29. This final stretch is peak ENC.

All 16 Games at ENC 2026
This is what this guide is all about. We’ve got a complete look at every title format, how players get in, and why it’s worth your time. Make sure you do them all.
Dota 2 (Nov 2-8)
Format: 5v5. Dota 2 opens ENC 2026 and sets the tone for the entire tournament. National team rosters in Dota are rare, which makes this format genuinely fresh.
Regional rivalries between CIS and China are fierce and legendary. Expect the first full week of ENC to deliver some of the most technically complex esports you’ll ever watch.
Chess (Nov 2-8) 🇮🇳 India’s Gold Hope
Format: 1v1. Chess is ENC 2026’s most surprising and most welcome addition. It runs simultaneously with Dota 2 in the opening week. This is India’s strongest gold medal opportunity by a distance. With reigning World Chess Champion D. Gukesh and world-ranked prodigy R. Praggnanandhaa both representing India, no other country comes close to matching India’s depth at the top.
Gukesh became world champion in 2024. Praggnanandhaa qualified for the FIDE Candidates 2026. India’s chess bench is deep, and the ENC format gives the team every chance to convert that depth into gold.
PUBG Mobile (Nov 3-8)
Format: 4-player squads. PUBG Mobile runs from November 3 through November 8. Open qualifiers will be absolutely fierce, with Asian powerhouses from China, South Korea, and Thailand all entering as heavy favourites.
But India is no longer a quiet underdog here. With BGIS 2026 producing a world-class champion in iQOO Soul and India’s BGMI ecosystem growing every year, NODWIN has genuine talent to build around. This is India’s second-biggest medal hope.
VALORANT (Nov 8-15)
Format: 5v5. VALORANT at ENC 2026 runs November 8-15, with 32 national teams competing across a group stage and playoff bracket. A $1.5 million prize pool is on the line for this title alone.
The fascinating angle here is watching wildly different regional playstyles clash on a single stage: Brazilian aggression against Korean discipline, European methodical play against Southeast Asian speed. India’s VALORANT community has grown massively, and with NODWIN building the national pathway, qualifying here is realistic. Keep an eye on this one closely.
Rainbow Six Siege (Nov 18-22)
Format: 5v5. Siege’s national team events are always chaotic, always entertaining, and always showcase incredible coordination and map knowledge. When players who usually compete in different club structures come together under one flag, the synergy challenges are real.
The best teams will be the ones that communicate fastest. 24 national teams compete here per the official ENC announcement.
Trackmania (Nov 19-22)
Format: Time-trial racing. Trackmania is a precision sport disguised as a racing game. There are no opponents to ram into. No luck involved. It’s you, a track, and a clock. The best Trackmania players in the world come from Europe, particularly France and Germany. This is a niche but brilliant spectator event for anyone who appreciates pure skill.
Street Fighter 6 and Fatal Fury (Nov 18-22)
Format: 1v1. The fighters get their own combined slot at ENC 2026, with Street Fighter 6 and Fatal Fury both confirmed in the November 18-22 window. 24 national teams compete. Solo fighting game events carry a completely different energy to team titles: there’s nowhere to hide, no teammate to bail you out. Pure 1-on-1 skill, and it produces some of the most dramatic individual moments in all of esports.
League of Legends (Nov 21-29)
Format: 5v5. League of Legends is the headline event of ENC 2026. 32 national teams compete from November 21 through November 29, with the Grand Final landing on the last day of the entire tournament. This is the world’s biggest PC esport by audience, and a Korea vs. China Gold Medal match at ENC would break records. The play-ins feature 24 teams in a double round-robin format, with the playoff bracket determining the champion.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Nov 23-29)
Format: 5v5. Mobile Legends is the king of mobile MOBAs globally, and it’s the crown jewel event for fans in the Philippines and Indonesia. MLBB was the very first title announced for ENC 2026, revealed during the M7 World Championship in Jakarta. These two nations will be the favourites, and their rivalry at ENC will be electric. Any Southeast Asian team that challenges them deserves serious attention.
Apex Legends (Nov 26-29)
Format: 3-player squads. Apex Legends closes out the entire ENC 2026 event. Battle royale with teams of three, open qualification, and a fast-paced format that rewards individual skill as much as teamwork. Historically dominant nations include the United States, Japan, and Australia. The unpredictable fights and rapid rotations make Apex the most entertaining viewing experience of ENC’s final weekend.
Counter-Strike 2 (CS2)
Format: 5v5. CS2 national qualifiers will span 96 countries and territories from July 6-19, followed by regional qualifiers leading to 24 teams at the finals. CS2 is the most prestigious FPS title in the world, and the national format opens up compelling storylines that club-based tournaments can’t create. An India vs. Pakistan matchup would be one of the most-watched matches in South Asian esports history. The dates for CS2 at the ENC finals are yet to be confirmed.
Rocket League
Format: 3v3. Cars playing football. It sounds absurd. It’s actually one of the most watchable esports in existence. The skill ceiling is impossibly high, the matches are short and action-packed, and a first-timer can understand what’s happening within two minutes. ENC 2026 dates for Rocket League are yet to be confirmed.
EA SPORTS FC
Format: 1v1. For every football fan who’s more comfortable with a controller than a pair of boots, EA SPORTS FC at ENC is the event. It’s the only simulation sports title in the lineup, which gives it a completely unique audience. Dates to be confirmed.
Honor of Kings
Format: 5v5. Honor of Kings is the highest-grossing mobile game in the world, and its ENC debut is a massive moment for the title’s global ambitions. Strong nations here will come from China and Southeast Asia. Dates to be confirmed.
PUBG: Battlegrounds (PC)
Format: Squads. The original battle royale on PC joins PUBG Mobile in the lineup, meaning KRAFTON gets two titles at ENC 2026. The PC version has a different competitive meta and will attract a different set of nations. European and South American regions tend to be strong here. Dates to be confirmed.
How Does the ENC 2026 Prize Pool Work?
The ENC 2026 prize structure pays every player and coach the same amount for finishing in the same position, regardless of which game they compete in. First place earns $50,000 per player. Second place earns $30,000 per player. Third place earns $15,000 per player. The structure is standardized and transparent across all 16 titles.
| Rank | Medal | Prize (Per Game Title) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🥇 1st Place | Gold | $50,000 | Per game, per nation |
| 🥈 2nd Place | Silver | $30,000 | Per game, per nation |
| 🥉 3rd Place | Bronze | $15,000 | Per game, per nation |
Most esports events pay wildly different amounts across titles, creating a hierarchy of “prestige” games. ENC deliberately levels that playing field. A Chess gold medalist earns exactly the same as a League of Legends gold medalist.
The total $20 million prize pool is split across all 16 titles. Prizes also extend beyond the final: players reaching the quarterfinals earn $7,250 each, and Round of 16 players earn $6,000 each. Nations that qualify multiple teams across multiple titles can accumulate serious earnings.
Beyond prize money, the EWCF has also committed $5 million in club incentives. Clubs that release their players to compete for their national team receive performance-tied bonuses from a separate fund. This means player earnings are never reduced by club participation.
India at ENC 2026: NODWIN Gaming and the Road to Riyadh
India has an official gateway to ENC 2026. The Esports Foundation appointed NODWIN Gaming as India’s National Team Partner on March 26, 2026. NODWIN was selected from over 630 applicants across 152 countries. That’s how competitive the selection process was, and India got one of the best.
India is confirmed to compete in 11 of the 16 titles at ENC 2026, including Chess, PUBG Mobile, VALORANT, CS2, Dota 2, Rocket League, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, Trackmania, and EA SPORTS FC.
India’s three strongest medal bets:
Chess: India is the gold medal favourite. Full stop. With Gukesh as reigning World Champion and Praggnanandhaa as a world top-five player, no country on the planet has two players at this level competing under the same flag. If Chess delivers, India’s ENC debut could be historic.
BGMI/PUBG Mobile: India’s mobile battle royale scene is elite. BGIS 2026 just proved the depth of India’s BGMI competitive talent. NODWIN has already been running national BGMI circuits for years, so the qualification pathway is familiar.
VALORANT: India’s VALORANT community has been building steadily. With NODWIN coordinating the national roster, India has a real shot at qualifying and making noise in the group stage.
Follow NODWIN Gaming’s social media channels for the latest on tryouts, qualifier registrations, and roster announcements. Coach nominations closed April 7, with national rosters locked by April 26. Qualifiers run June through August. The clock is ticking.
