Tianba Finishes PMWC 2026 Survival Stage on Top

AlUla Club Esports finished second with 91 points, recording one win alongside 29 placement points and 62 elimination points. Nongshim RedForce ended the stage in third with 89 points, also securing one win.

FURIA took fourth place with 85 points, while ULF Esports completed the top five with 84 points and two wins.

EARENA produced one of the most important finishes of the Survival Stage, securing sixth place with 79 points.

Wolves Esports also finished on 79 points and ended seventh, meaning the race for the final Grand Finals position went down to the final standings.

EARENA’s performance included one win, 33 placement points and 46 elimination points. That result was enough to keep the team ahead of Wolves Esports and secure its place in the Grand Finals.

ULF Esports also delivered a crucial late-stage recovery, finishing fifth with 84 points. The team recorded two wins, 36 placement points and 48 elimination points. Its ability to remain competitive until the final match ultimately secured another opportunity on the biggest stage.

The performance was particularly significant because ULF had been under pressure throughout the Survival Stage, but the team managed to qualify when the Grand Finals places were decided.

Alpha7 Eliminated From the Grand Finals

One of the biggest names to fall short was Alpha7, which finished ninth with 72 points.

The reigning PMGC 2025 champions recorded 23 placement points and 49 elimination points but did not finish inside the required top six.

Alpha7 showed improvement during the latter part of the day, but the recovery was not enough to move the team into a qualifying position.

Their elimination means the Grand Finals will have a new PMWC champion, with Alpha7 unable to continue its campaign through the Survival Stage.

What to Expect From the Grand Finals

Tianba enters the final phase after dominating the Survival Stage standings, while Team Vitality and 4Thrives Esports arrive after strong Group Stage performances. GodLike Esports will also carry India’s hopes into the international final.

FURIA’s aggressive style, ULF’s late recovery, EARENA’s ability to survive the final qualification battle and Nongshim RedForce’s consistency could all become important factors once the Grand Finals begin.

The PMWC 2026 Grand Finals are set to begin on August 14, with all 16 qualified teams returning for the final battle for the championship.

After the Survival Stage produced six new qualifiers and eliminated several major names, the tournament now moves into its decisive phase, where a new PMWC champion will ultimately be crowned.
