GodLike Esports’ BMSD 2026 Qualifier Week 3 campaign was interrupted by a technical issue during a Group A match, with SPower later expressing his frustration over how the situation was handled. According to SPower, the problem occurred within the opening minutes of the match, and although the issue was eventually resolved, the match was not rehosted.

SPower questioned how a team could be expected to continue with its original strategy after losing crucial time and having its rotations, timings, positioning and overall game plan disrupted.

What Happened During the BMSD 2026 Match?

During Match 3 of BMSD 2026 Qualifiers Week 3, Day 3, Group A, GodLike Esports reportedly faced a technical or glitch-related issue involving Admino going offline during the match.

SPower later explained through an Instagram Story that the issue was being addressed from around the fourth minute. Once the technical problem was fixed, however, the team was asked to continue playing instead of restarting the match.

That became the main point of SPower’s criticism.

According to him, the problem was not simply whether the technical issue itself had been fixed. His argument was that the disruption had already affected the competitive situation, particularly the team’s planned rotations, timings, positioning and overall strategy.

“How are we supposed to rotate now? What about our game plan, rotations, timings, and positioning?”

For SPower, fixing the glitch did not necessarily restore the match to the position it would have been in had the issue never occurred.

SPower Compares BMSD Decision With EWC

SPower also compared the BMSD situation with the Esports World Cup 2026, arguing that similar technical problems at EWC can result in a match being rehosted.

In August 2026, GodLike Esports and Team Orangutan went to play for India at EWC 2026. According to SPower, if any kind of glitch occurred during a match there, the match was rehosted.

SPower wrote that at EWC, “a rule is a rule,” while suggesting that BMSD’s handling of the situation made the rules feel less consistent.
