BMSD 2026 Grand Finals concluded with iQOO SouL lifting the championship trophy after delivering their strongest performance on Day 3, finishing at the top of the overall standings with 155 points from 18 matches. Gladiators Esports secured second place with 141 points, while iQOO 8BIT finished third with 140 points.
However, the biggest story was not simply SouL winning another trophy. The championship also answered a major question surrounding the Smash Rule format: could a team win the tournament without reaching the required Smash Point threshold and securing the decisive Chicken Dinner? At BMSD 2026, the answer was yes, as no team managed to convert Smash eligibility into a championship-winning victory.
