BSMD 2026 Upper Bracket Survival Day 2 completely changed the overall standings, with Team Outrage producing the biggest turnaround of the day and several teams tightening their grip on the race for the Top 8.

After six matches on Day 2, Outrage climbed all the way to the top of the standings with 100 total points, while NBF and LEEP remained close behind on 98 points each. OG also continued their impressive performance with 94 points, while VJ secured fifth place by displaying excellent gameplay.

Team Outrage Makes a Huge Comeback

Team Outrage was the biggest story of Day 2. After finishing Day 1 with only 25 points, OR produced a remarkable turnaround and reached 100 points in the overall standings by the end of Day 2.

That means the team added 75 points during Day 2, including one Chicken Dinner, completely changing its position in the tournament. The comeback was particularly impressive because Outrage had a difficult start, but managed to consistently collect placement and finish points throughout the second day.

Orangutan was another team that delivered a solid Day 2 performance. OG collected 67 points during the day, including one Chicken Dinner, and moved to 94 total points after 12 matches.

VJ has two Chicken Dinners and 43 placement points, leaving the team six points clear of the eighth-place cutoff.

The Top 8 Race Is Getting Extremely Tight

The current standings show just how little room there is for mistakes.

The gap between eighth-place HBSN and ninth-place IRIS is currently 10 points, while the teams immediately above the cutoff are separated by only a few points.

HBSN has 78 points, followed by IRIS at 68, meaning the battle around the qualification line remains one of the biggest talking points heading into the final Upper Bracket Survival day.

GodLike and TAG Under Pressure

The situation is also becoming increasingly difficult for GODL and TAG. GODL currently sits 10th with 66 points, while TAG is 13th with 58 points. Both teams have been unable to establish the consistency required to move into the Top 8, and with only one day remaining and there is immense pressure on both teams.

During one of the Day 2 matches, Team Apex Gaming’s IGL Jelly got very angry over his teammate’s movement after the team was eliminated from the match. Jelly then threw his headphone in anger. This clearly shows that the team is under a lot of pressure, especially regarding their performance, as the team has not been able to perform consistently well.

What Happens on the Upper Bracket Survival Final Day?

The third day will be the final day of the ‘Upper Bracket Survival’ stage. The biggest advantage of this stage is that no team will be eliminated. The top 8 teams on the leaderboard will advance directly to the semi-final zone, while the bottom 8 teams will move to the lower bracket zone.

That makes the final day less about simply winning matches and more about securing a position inside the Top 8. For teams currently sitting between fifth and eighth, even a small drop in performance could change their position considerably.

Day 2 has completely reshaped the Upper Bracket Survival standings. However, the most important battle is still around the Top 8 cutoff. With HBSN currently holding eighth place on 78 points, the final day could produce another major shift in the standings.
