BMSD 2026 Last Chance Day 1 ended with Myth Official at the top of the overall standings, while Elite Nova Esports, Wyld Fangs, and iQOO Team Tamilas occupied the remaining four Grand Finals qualification spots. With six matches completed on October 12, MYTH delivered a dominant performance with 70 points, followed by Elite Nova with 61, Wyld Fangs with 60, and Team Tamilas with 57.
The stakes are straightforward: only four teams from the 16-team Last Chance stage will qualify directly for the Grand Finals, while the other 12 teams will be eliminated. Although the leading teams have established a valuable advantage, the standings below the top four remain competitive, making the final six matches on October 13 particularly important.
BMSD 2026 Last Chance Day 1 Overall Standings
The first day produced a clear leader, but the fight for the remaining Grand Finals spots is far from settled. MYTH, Elite Nova, Wyld Fangs, and Team Tamilas currently occupy the qualification positions, while Welt Esports, Orangutan, and Genesis Esports lead the chasing group.

Myth Official delivered the strongest overall performance of the opening day, collecting 70 points from six matches, including two WWCDs, 40 eliminations, and 30 placement points. 40 eliminations are particularly significant because they demonstrate how effectively MYTH converted their engagements into points. At the same time, their 30 placement points show that the team was not relying solely on eliminations to remain competitive.
Elite Nova Esports finished Day 1 in second place with 61 points, including one WWCD, 38 eliminations, and 23 placement points. Their performance puts them in a strong position heading into the decisive day, although their qualification is not yet secured.
The team has shown that it can compete at the highest level, but consistency has been a concern throughout BMSD 2026. According to Elite Nova Esports IGL Owais, the team has experienced more difficulties in this tournament than in several of its previous official competitions.
Owais acknowledged that mistakes had contributed to Elite Nova’s position in the Last Chance stage. He explained that the team was working to reduce those errors and rebuild its confidence, particularly during fights.
Owais explains Elite Nova’s consistency issues
During the interview, Owais also addressed the team’s approach to engagements. Following some disappointing performances, the players experienced a drop in confidence, which affected their willingness to take fights. The team subsequently tried to focus more heavily on fighting, but that adjustment did not always produce the desired results.
Owais also spoke about the importance of reaching the Grand Finals and the possibility of competing internationally. His comments suggested that Elite Nova understand the importance of the remaining matches. With 61 points already on the board, the team has a meaningful opportunity to convert its Day 1 performance into Grand Finals qualification.
Team Tamilas Hold Fourth Place Despite a Slight Dip
iQOO Team Tamilas finished the day in fourth place with 57 points, recording one WWCD, 38 eliminations, and 19 placement points.
Their overall performance remained competitive, particularly in terms of eliminations. However, their total is lower than those of the three teams above them, and the difference between fourth and fifth place is 13 points.
Welt Esports, Orangutan and Genesis Esports Lead the Chasing Pack
The three teams immediately below the qualification positions are Welt Esports, iQOO Orangutan, and Genesis Esports. They finished the first day with 44, 43, and 40 points, respectively.
Welt Esports have the strongest position among these teams, with 28 eliminations and 16 placement points. Orangutan are only one point behind Welt, while Genesis are another three points back.
Genesis deserve particular attention because they have managed 34 eliminations, the third-highest total in the standings, but have collected only six placement points. This imbalance indicates that their fighting output has not translated into enough overall points.
Vasista Esports finished Day 1 in 11th place with 24 points, including 21 eliminations and just three placement points. Their overall position is disappointing, but their performance in the final match offered a small reason for optimism. After managing only 11 eliminations across their first five matches, they collected 10 eliminations in the sixth match alone.
MadKings Need a Complete Turnaround on Day 2
MadKings finished the first day in 16th place with 21 points, including 14 eliminations and seven placement points. Their position leaves them with the most ground to recover among the 16 participating teams.
The main problem is inconsistency. MadKings have struggled to string together strong performances, with their better matches not being supported by equally effective results across the remainder of the day.
A comeback remains possible in a points-based competition, but the team cannot afford another day in which its best performance is insufficient to move it up the standings.
Final Thoughts
The final day of BMSD 2026 Last Chance takes place on October 13, with six matches remaining before the four qualifying teams are confirmed. The top four after all 12 matches will advance to the Grand Finals, while the other 12 teams will be eliminated.
The final six matches will determine which teams can recover and which will fall short. For the teams outside the top four, the opening Rondo match could be decisive; for those already in qualification positions, consistency will be just as important as aggression.
