Garena recently banned over 752,419 Free Fire MAX accounts since September 13, 2026, targeting hackers and panel users. Garena released this report through its Instagram handle on Tuesday evening, September 29. This latest report shows that a large number of Free Fire MAX accounts have been banned.
The previous ban report was released on July 13, with around 4,55,387 accounts banned. This means the number of banned accounts increased by around 65.2% by September 13, 2026, compared to June 18, 2026.
Why Are So Many Free Fire MAX Accounts Getting Banned in 2026?
A Free Fire MAX account gets banned when players use a modified game client, unauthorized third-party tools, or an app cloner. Garena follows a strict zero-tolerance policy against any software that changes the game’s main files or gives an unfair advantage in battle.
Any player who uses hacks, changes the game files, or tries to modify the Free Fire app in any way will be banned immediately. According to Garena’s official Abuse Policy, using an unauthorized program can lead to an immediate and permanent suspension. They want the battleground to remain fair for everyone.
Why Do Real Players Get Banned Alongside Hackers?
Innocent players often face a Free Fire MAX account ban because they associate with known hackers, play in lobbies with cheaters, or fall victim to automated false positives during massive anti-cheat server sweeps.
According to player complaints and community reports, innocent accounts get swept up in automated ban waves. Sometimes, the anti-cheat system flags your account if you frequently team up with a friend who is secretly using a panel.
Garena only bans the accounts they catch. They do not fix the root problem in the game. Meanwhile, dozens of YouTubers and social media pages openly sell hack panels for real money. They ruin the gaming environment on purpose.
Garena needs to make strict rules against these sellers. If any creator is caught promoting a cheat panel, action should also be taken against their platform.
Online community discussions suggest that players feel this anti-cheat system only punishes the buyers. Meanwhile, the seller remains free to scam the next person. Instead of taking action only against players who fall for these scams, Garena should focus on shutting down the supply chain behind these scammers.
