From Haldwani to PMO
Anshu Bashit had a passion for gaming since childhood. When he was in 6th grade, his father brought him a game for the first time. At that time, games like Contra and Mario were very popular. From then on, he developed a love for gaming, which has now become his passion.
In 2016, when internet arrived at Anshu’s home, he thought of starting his gaming journey. But he only had an old Platinum 4 PC, which couldn’t handle video editing.
To buy a better PC, he started teaching at a coaching center. He went to school during the day and taught in the evening. After about three months, he bought a system with an i3 processor and uploaded his first video on Far Cry Primal in February 2017. He had planned to start the channel on his birthday, but couldn’t wait and uploaded it earlier.
In the beginning, Anshu would borrow phones from people around him to get them to subscribe to his channel. Slowly, he gained 300 to 500 subscribers. Around the same time, in July 2017, his father also lost his job.
During college, Anshu started creating gaming videos alongside his studies. But as he gave more time to gaming, his relationships with friends began to suffer.
For a while, he moved to Delhi and worked a job in digital marketing. But the expenses were high, the salary was low, and he had to travel 14 kilometers daily. Frustrated, he returned to his hometown Haldwani and restarted his YouTube journey.
In a podcast with iQOO India, Anshu said, “I’m someone who doesn’t make excuses. If something goes wrong, I take full responsibility. I work hard quietly and don’t blame others.”
